Service Description

The Basic Life Support Instructor's course is for you to learn how to host a class for other healthcare providers and public safety professionals. Giving them the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and emergency cardiovascular care in adult, children and infant patients. Consistent with OSHA and the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and BLS. You will learn the use of lecture, how to run skills practices and case-based emergency response scenarios. You will also learn how to help your students build their critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that's needed to have better patient outcomes. This is a mandatory 18hr course that can be broken down into sessions by 2-4 days a week, 4-9 hours daily, or a blended learning part online and a 8 hour in person skills session at your request. Upon successful completion, students will receive a 2 year certificate and ecard via email. You will have anytime, anywhere access to training history. All course information and instructions will be emailed to students prior to the first day of class. Instructor Course Qualifications: 1. Be at least 18 years of age. 2. Have a current AHA or ARC BLS Provider certification. 3. Be prepared to successfully complete the BLS Skills Check-Off. 4. Be prepared to complete and pass the BLS Instructor's Written Exam. 5. Complete the AHA BLS Instructor Essentials online course ($36) 6. Purchase the AHA BLS Instructor manual or e-book ($45) *If teaching Heart saver courses, the AHA Heart Saver manual must also be purchased ($55) @www.heart.org Note: Prices may change. If you do not have a basic BLS certification, we can provide training for that as well for an additional discounted $65 fee. Discounted to our students as a dual class for aligning with our company. Aligning with us is free of charge. There is an additional $60 fee for a basic BLS certification, if you are aligning with another training company other than Heartbeat CPR Nationwide. Cancellation Policy

A 48-hour notice is required for any cancellations requested by the student prior to the scheduled class. Failure to give a 48-hour notice will result in a 20% cancellation fee. No shows will result in a 50% no show fee.
